In a grand empowerment program, she provided 1,300 members of her senatorial district with tools and equipment to boost their livelihoods. Beneficiaries received items such as tricycles, motorcycles, grinding machines for market women, sewing machines for tailoring trainees, welding machines, deep freezers, hairdressing equipment, block molding machines, and fishery tools.

Encouraging the beneficiaries to use these tools to enhance their income, she emphasized the importance of sustainable development. Her vision is clear: empowering people with the means to create a better future for themselves and their families.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has also addressed critical infrastructural and educational needs in Kogi Central. She rehabilitated the one-kilometer access road to Abdulaziz Atta Memorial College, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students. In addition, she provided laptops to selected secondary schools, enhancing access to digital education.

For communities lacking potable water, she installed boreholes, addressing a fundamental need for clean drinking water. Her contributions to public utilities also include the installation of streetlights, which have illuminated major roads in her senatorial district, enhancing security and improving night-time visibility.

During the last yuletide season, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan demonstrated her compassion by sharing six trailer loads of rice, clothes, school supplies, and cash gifts with her constituents. These gestures of kindness underscore her deep connection with the people she represents.

In her hometown of Ihima, where a functional police station had been absent for seven years, she rebuilt the station and provided residential quarters for officers, addressing the community’s urgent need for enhanced security.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s leadership has not gone unnoticed.
